Armed forces told to use gender-neutral language

A piece published on the website of Justice for Men & Boys (and the women who love them), the political party of which I’m the chairman, in December 2017:

Our thanks to Sean for a short piece in the Telegraph. An extract:

A spokesman for the Ministry of Defence said: “We are continuously promoting a modern, inclusive, working environment to ensure individuals are recognised and feel valued.” [J4MB emphasis]

It comes after the Army backtracked over plans to drop the ‘Be the Best’ slogan. Defence Secretary Gavin Williamson blocked the rebranding proposal, after a leaked document described the slogan as “elitist”.

What might replace the ‘Be the Best’ slogan, to satisfy feminists? Maybe something along the lines of:

Be quite good considering the need to make female troops feel valued at all times, and making allowances for female troops unable to perform at the same level as the male troops.

Yes, that should inspire the men as they march into battle, carrying some of the loads of their female colleagues, who are marching more slowly than them, a mile or two behind, preparing for retreat if the battle looks like it’s not going well. Hmm, how will the men ‘feel’ about that?
