A piece published on the website of Justice for Men & Boys (and the women who love them), the political party of which I’m the chairman, in November 2018:
The “Fearless Girl” statue (EPA)
Our thanks to Sean for this. I replied to him:
Thanks Sean. It says nothing good about women and girls that so many have an insatiable appetite for this sort of BS. To me, it speaks of female narcissism, insecurity, anxiety, and poor self-esteem. And this sort of nonsense simply cranks those things up. Most women know they’re neither strong nor amazing – let alone “fearless” – and the effort of pretending to be so (in effect, becoming actresses in their day-to-day lives) stresses and exhausts them. How many more years of feminist “Women are strong! Women are amazing!!” narratives will we have to endure, before normal women in sufficient numbers tell them to sling their hooks?
