‘Have I tuned into an episode of Loose Women?’ New-look BBC politics show sparks controversy among viewers after unveiling all-female line-up for its launch

Our thanks to Ray for this. The start of the piece:

The BBC‘s new-look daily politics show has sparked a storm of criticism after it launched today with an all-female line-up.

Viewers compared the new Politics Live show to Loose Women and jibed that ‘woke’ producers had pushed their political correctness too far.

But Rob Burley, the editor of the BBC 2 show, hit back at the criticism and said he has ‘literally zero shame about an all-women panel’.

Politics Live launched this morning with a panel of six female MPs and political pundits, including ex Home Secretary Amber Rudd and shadow Foreign Secretary Emily Thornberry.

Producers had promised the show, hosted by Jo Coburn throughout the week and by Andrew Neil for PMQs on Wednesday, would be more relaxed and chatty [J4MB emphasis: In plain English, less substantive] than its long-running predecessor The Daily Politics.

Northern Ireland secretary Karen Bradley admits she had no idea people in the country voted on sectarian lines before she was promoted to crucial Cabinet job

A piece published on the website of Justice for Men & Boys (and the women who love them), the political party of which I’m the chairman, in September 2018:

As an indicator of how low the bar is for female Conservative MPs to be appointed cabinet ministers by Theresa “This is what a feminist looks like” May MP, it would be hard to beat this. There surely cannot have been even one male Tory MP who knew so little about politics in Northern Ireland as Karen Bradley when she was appointed Secretary of State for Northern Ireland. The start of the piece:

Karen Bradley admitted today she did not understand the sectarian divide in Northern Ireland before being promoted to the Cabinet post overseeing the province.

In an astonishing confession, she admitted to not knowing Unionist and Nationalist parties do not compete with each for votes but instead vie for support within their own communities.

And the Northern Ireland Secretary said it was not until after she was appointed to the crucial job she appreciated how ‘incredibly different’ the province was to her own Staffordshire constituency.

Dr Siobhan O’Dwyer, prissy angry whiny Entitlement Princess, slams airline staff for calling her ‘Miss’ on flight – but others say she overreacted

A piece published on the website of Justice for Men & Boys (and the women who love them), the political party of which I’m the chairman, in September 2018:

Dr Siobhan O'Dwyer

Miss Siobhan O’Dwyer, prissy angry whiny Entitlement Princess

We have a successor to the odious and equally innocent doe-eyed Charlotte Proudman, another young woman fond of passive aggression. Our thanks to James for this. Hopefully Qantas will respond to (Australian, we believe) Miss O’Dwyer’s future requests for tickets by (very robustly, in the Oz manner) telling her to piss off. Please be sure to vote on the question on the web page, “Was the university lecturer right to hit out at Qantas staff?”

Where to start? An extract:

A University of Exeter senior lecturer has slammed airline Qantas for referring to her as ‘Miss’ instead of ‘Doctor’ – saying it was an example of ‘every day sexism’.

Dr Siobhan O’Dwyer’s Tweet about the incident has been liked more than 8,500 times – and sparked a huge debate on the social network about whether Qantas staff were in the wrong.

After flying with the airline to her native Australia, Dr O’Dwyer wrote: “Hey Qantas, my name is Dr O’Dwyer. My ticket says Dr O’Dwyer. Do not look at my ticket, look at me, look back at my ticket, decide it’s a typo, and call me Miss O’Dwyer.

“I did not spend eight years at university to be called Miss.”

No, sweetheart, you spent eight years at university, but your narcissistic hysteria marks you out as a Special Snowflake, in the mould of Laura Bloody-Bates of The Everyday Whining Project. Narcissistic Personality Disorder, anyone? Another extract:

She wrote: “Copping so much flak for this tweet. This was not about my ego. [J4MB: It totally WAS, toots.] It was about highlighting one of a thousand instances of sexism that women encounter every day.

Assuming women only encounter instances of sexism during their waking hours – 16 per day, the same as evil patriarchs? – 1,000 instances “every day” equates to a little more than one per minute. Wow. No wonder there are so many angry whiny wimmin like Miss O’Dwyer around!

Miss O’Dwyer’s page on the University of Exeter website is here. Her email address is S.ODywer@exeter.ac.uk. I invite supporters to email her a link to this piece. Probably best not to include a rape threat, on this occasion. Thanks.

Jesse Hernandez, 25, the New Orleans Saints’ first male cheerleader and the third in the NFL, struts his stuff

A piece published on the website of Justice for Men & Boys (and the women who love them), the political party of which I’m the chairman, in September 2018:

It’s official. The world’s going to hell in a handcart (video, 1:12). Is nothing sacred? On the plus side, the big Jesse’s homage to John Cleese’s “Ministry of Silly Walks” sketch in Monty Python’s Flying Circus is something to behold:

Rt Rev Rachel Treweek, Bishopess of Gloucester, calls for female criminals to be treated even more leniently

A piece published on the website of Justice for Men & Boys (and the women who love them), the political party of which I’m the chairman, in September 2018:

Our thanks to Rob for this. Sympathy and rehabilitation for women, condemnation and punishment for men. Same old, same old. An extract:

“As a Christian I believe that our humanity and flourishing is rooted in relationship. Where healing and rehabilitation take place it comes from a place of trust in relationship. To that end prison is rarely the most appropriate or effective place for these issues to be addressed.”

Mike Buchanan in discussion with Kelvin MacKenzie (Love Sport Radio)

A piece published on the website of Justice for Men & Boys (and the women who love them), the political party of which I’m the chairman, in September 2018:

This morning I was in a discussion with Kelvin MacKenzie, a well-known and controversial media figure, in part because of his editorship of The Sun for many years. I was asked onto his show to discuss the issue of the large increase in the number of girls seeking to “transition” to boys, and was well prepared for that, but Kelvin soon moved the discussion onto men’s issues.

The discussion is here (12:02).
