A feminist asks: Why can’t we hate men?

A piece published by Elizabeth Hobson on the website of Justice for Men & Boys (and the women who love them), the political party of which I’m the chairman, in June 2018:

In a classic (archived) piece of feminist propaganda, Suzanna Danuta Walters has proposed that hatred of men as a class is a legitimate perspective. As vile a read as her Washington Post article is, it’s really another feminist gift to us, as the opposition. Writing on such a heinous level in such a prestigious and widely-read publication can only serve to further alienate the non-feminist sector from feminism and potentially flick the activation switch in some of these individuals who will be prompted to take a stance.

Robert Brockway has published an open letter to the president of the university where Ms Danuta Walters is a professor of sociology and director of the Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies Program.

Feminist Bookstore Closes, White Supremacy to Blame

A piece published by Elizabeth Hobson on the website of Justice for Men & Boys (and the women who love them), the political party of which I’m the chairman, in June 2018:

Our thanks to Daniel for this The Western Journal link.

The bookstore at the heart of (great) comedy ‘Portlandia’ (who hated it FYI), In Other Words is closing because “reform [of Capitalism] does not work” and the store was “founded on white, cis feminism (read: white supremacy)”. Full statement on their site.

Women cheat because they LOVE their husbands

A piece published on the website of Justice for Men & Boys (and the women who love them), the political party of which I’m the chairman, in June 2018:

Our thanks to Chloe for this. She writes:

So the reason most cheating women are unfaithful is the same reason most cheating men are – sex. What a perverted double standard we have here. Women find a reason to make their infidelity laudable, while still criticising men for their infidelity. Sometimes I’m ashamed to be a woman.

BBC Sunday Morning Live: “Are Men’s Rights Neglected?”

A piece published on the website of Justice for Men & Boys (and the women who love them), the political party of which I’m the chairman, in June 2018:

In the middle of last week I was invited by the BBC to be among those to possibly appear on the first episode of the new series of Sunday Morning Live, to speak on issues including men’s rights, following the government’s rejection of most of the recommendations in a report by the Wimmin and Equality Committee on fathers in the workplace. Of course I agreed, and had extensive discussions, but late Friday evening I learned I hadn’t been chosen to appear.

The full programme is available on iPlayer, and accessible to BBC licence fee payers for the next 29 days – here. The section on “Are Men’s Rights Neglected?” is over 39:40 – 52:30. So, what were the ideological leanings of those contributing to the discussion on men’s rights, either in the studio or via video?

Four “professors” warn that “commitment to empirical science” hurts women

A piece published on the website of Justice for Men & Boys (and the women who love them), the political party of which I’m the chairman, in June 2018:

Carroll Serron, “Professor” at the University of California-Irvine

It’s time for another “crazy taxpayer-funded academics” story, our thanks to the good people at Campus Reform. The start of the piece:

Four professors are warning that the “hegemony of meritocratic ideology” and other manifestations of “masculine culture” in engineering courses are detrimental to women.

Led by Carroll Serron, who teaches at the University of California-Irvine, the March 1 study contends that the sense of exclusion and isolation felt by female engineering students is exacerbated by the overwhelming “meritocratic ideology” in the field.

“In its commitment to empirical science, technical thinking, merit, and individualism, engineering culture allocates what it sees as political issues…to the realm of the social and subjective.”

Though some scholars argue that engineering culture upholds hegemonic masculinity, Serron and her team take a different approach, arguing that it is not specifically “hegemonic masculinity” that hurts women but rather “meritocratic ideology.”
