BBC News: Should men-only business events be a thing of the past?

A piece published on the website of Justice for Men & Boys (and the women who love them), the political party of which I’m the chairman, in January 2018:

An outrageous piece on the BBC website. It was written by a woman, all nine people she cites, or references, are women. This is gender balance, BBC style.

Piers Morgan to Laura Bates: “Lovely to see you, Laura. You can laugh, come on. Have a laugh.”

A piece published on the website of Justice for Men & Boys (and the women who love them), the political party of which I’m the chairman, in January 2018:

Piers Morgan appears not to understand that for a man, trying to get Special Snowflake to laugh is an exercise in utter futility. Our thanks to Jeff for this (video, 0:39).

Doctors told to hang rainbow flags to make waiting rooms more welcoming to gay and transgender patients

A piece published on the website of Justice for Men & Boys (and the women who love them), the political party of which I’m the chairman, in January 2018:

How a waiting room might look

Another piece for our “You couldn’t make this s*** up!!!” filing cabinet. Extracts:

Doctors have been told to hang rainbow flags in their waiting rooms to make them more welcoming to gay and transgender patients.

In addition to displaying the symbol, NHS policy advisers also want medics to be given lessons on how to speak to sexual minorities so they do not cause offence. [J4MB: Because doctors have a reputation for saying to gay men, “Here, you’re not one of those shirt-lifters, are you? We’ll have none of those in this clinic!!!”]

But Conservative MP Andrew Bridgen blasted: “You would have thought doctors would have higher priorities than pandering to the PC brigade — particularly when the NHS is under so much pressure.”

Tory colleague Philip Davies said: “If they spent as much time on treating patients and less time flexing their politically correct muscles, they might get somewhere.”

The guidance on the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community is in a monthly journal sent to more than 50,000 docs and researchers.

Prof Kamila Hawthorne, of the Royal College of GPs, said: “We want all patients to feel welcome.

“If surgeries find that displaying a rainbow symbol in their practice encourages LGBT patients to seek medical attention when they need it, then that’s a good thing.” [J4MB: Madness on stilts. Why would the silly bat imagine rainbow symbols might have that impact? Do gay men and lesbians requiring medical attention currently walk into doctors’ waiting rooms, then storm out if they don’t see rainbow flags hung there?]

BBC’s report into pay inequality finds NO gender bias in the way stars’ salaries are decided but announces ‘substantial pay cuts for men and increases for women’

A piece published on the website of Justice for Men & Boys (and the women who love them), the political party of which I’m the chairman, in January 2018:

Our thanks to Ray for this. In summary:

– there is no gender bias in the way stars’ salaries are decided
– the BBC is announcing substantial pay cuts for men, and increases for women
– the BBC is introducing gender bias into the way stars’ salaries are decided

Am I missing something here?

‘We are a label-less household’: Pink reveals she is raising her children gender neutral… after daughter Willow, six, expressed her desire ‘to marry an African woman’

A piece published on the website of Justice for Men & Boys (and the women who love them), the political party of which I’m the chairman, in December 2017:

Our thanks to Martin for this. He writes:

Hahahahaaaa !

Pink raising children as ‘gender-neutral’.

I can only say we have failed in dealing with our own women in a logical, pragmatic manner. Our current treatment of our women is a complete joke, a complete failure on our part. Every man who does not see this is a fool.

If we don’t change our behavior, this idiocy will be getting crazier by the month.

We must change, not wait for our women to change. They will only change after we change, not before !

Transgender lessons for two-year-olds: Drag queens drafted into nursery schools to teach children about sexual diversity

A piece published on the website of Justice for Men & Boys (and the women who love them), the political party of which I’m the chairman, in December 2017:

Our thank to Mike P for a piece on taxpayer-funded child abuse in the Daily Mail. Extracts:

Drag queens are being brought into taxpayer-funded nursery schools so that children as young as two can learn about transgender issues.

The cross-dressers are reading nursery rhymes and singing specially adapted songs ‘to teach children about LGBT tolerance’.

Nursery bosses say the sessions are needed so that children can ‘see people who defy rigid gender restrictions’ and grow up to combat hate crime.

They want to target two and three-year-olds to influence them early, as they say at this age children have not yet developed any discriminatory ‘isms’.

The ‘performances’ are the brainchild of Thomas Canham, a Bristol University law graduate and part-time cross-dresser who dismisses traditional notions of masculinity as ‘meaningless’…

Mr Canham’s organisation Drag Queen Story Time (DQST) is holding sessions at seven nurseries run by the London Early Years Foundation over the winter. If deemed successful, they will be rolled out across all the nursery’s 37 sites…

He [Donna La Mode] said he wanted to create a ‘safe space’ where adults or children would not be criticised for ‘wearing a dress’. His drag queens had ‘complete control’ over their performances, he added.

‘They can include, for example, drag queen references within songs. So if you’re doing something like Wheels On The Bus, you can sing, “The skirt on the drag queen goes swish, swish, swish.”

‘The parents love it, and the children love it too – especially when you’ve got a six-year-old boy there in a princess dress which he isn’t allowed to wear at home because his dad doesn’t like it.’

His drag queens also had ‘a library with books which focus on LGBT rights, feminist fairy tales [J4MB emphasis – who can possibly say this whole thing isn’t about social engineering?] and trans-rights issues,’ said Mr Canham, the son of a British Army soldier…

June O’Sullivan, chief executive of LEYF, said: ‘By providing spaces in which children are able to see people who defy rigid gender restrictions, it allows them to imagine the world in which people can present [themselves] as they wish.’

She told BBC London radio it was good to expose very young children to men who dress as women, ‘because children are very open until about three’. [J4MB emphasis]

‘At three they begin to absorb all the “isms” that adults have developed very effectively,’ she explained.

Brief details on June O’ Sullivan, CEO of LEYF, and the nine Trustees of LEYF are here. Seven of the nine Trustees are women.

US Navy hands out punishment for the two aviators held responsible for skywriting a giant penis over Washington state

A piece published on the website of Justice for Men & Boys (and the women who love them), the political party of which I’m the chairman, in December 2017:

The reprimands were not made public as it was meted out in an administrative proceeding

Our thanks to Mike P for this. The piece (towards the end) includes a link to a video (1:22) of the later part of the creation of the work of genius, clearly much appreciated by at least of couple of women with a sense of humour, i.e. not feminists. An extract from the article:

The aviators, who belonged to Electronic Attack Squadron 130, used an EA-18 Growler aircraft during the incident, the Times reported.

A Growler aircraft was surely the most suitable for the task. The men shouldn’t have been punished, they should have received an award. Maybe their creation was a comment on the feminisation of the military.

Anne Delessio-Parson, Argentinian fruitcake: “Eating meat perpetuates ‘hegemonic masculinity’ and ‘gender hegemony’. Vegetarianism isn’t just a lifestyle choice, but a feminist act.”

A piece published on the website of Justice for Men & Boys (and the women who love them), the political party of which I’m the chairman, in December 2017:

A tip of the hat to Campus Reform, a commendable American website, for this interview with an Argentinian fruitcake, Anne Delesio-Parson. Ms DP is described in the headline and article as a Sociology professor, but she’s not. Her website page at PennState College of the Liberal Arts is here, showing her to be a ‘PhD candidate’ – a postgraduate student, then – and her CV is here. An extract from the article:

In the most recent issue of the Journal of Feminist Geography, professor Anne DeLessio-Parson argues that “hegemonic masculinity implies an imperative to eat meat” and that this helps reify other power hierarchies as well.

Vegetarians also contribute to the destabilization of the gender binary, she argued.

“The decision to become vegetarian does not itself destabilize gender, but the subsequent social interactions between vegetarian and meat-eater demand gender enactment—or resistance,” DeLessio-Parson discovered.

“Refusing meat therefore presents opportunities, in each social interaction, for the binary to be called into question,” she said, noting that women, for example, may not consider dating men who eat meat, while male vegetarians might end up spending more time in the kitchen as opposed to outside on the grill, all actions which can destabilize gender norms.
