Our thanks to Mike P for this. So what’s the message here? That women should ‘beat men to City jobs’ by competing with men on the basis of competence, or commitment (e.g. by working long hours)? No. On the basis of acting i.e. not being their true selves. Pathetic.

Women who are able to cut it in competitive environments have never needed such things. It’s only the women who are not able to cut it who need them, likewise the women who rely on gender quotas to get into boardrooms, when their expertise and experience alone wouldn’t suffice. Parasites, one and all.
