Who do YOU get your electricity and gas from?

A piece published on the website of Justice for Men & Boys (and the women who love them), the political party of which I’m the chairman, in April 2018:

Walking through the centre of the throbbing metropolis of BedfordBedfordshire, late this afternoon, I spotted two young ladies engaging with passers-by with a view to switching them to alternative energy suppliers. And so it was that I had this exchange with one of them:

She: Hello, sir. Can you tell me who you get your electricity and gas from?

Me: Interesting question. I get my electricity from a power station – not sure which one, to be fair – and I assume my gas comes from the North Sea. Who do you get your electricity and gas from?

After a second or two of bemused puzzlement, the young lady decided to cut her losses, and apologised for wasting my time.

This can’t keep happening! – Harriet Harman jests with Maria Miller on accidentally matching outfits

A piece published on the website of Justice for Men & Boys (and the women who love them), the political party of which I’m the chairman, in April 2018:

Another piece for our overflowing “You couldn’t make this s*** up!” filing cabinet.

We need more female MPs.

Maria Miller (unConservative, Basingstoke) should, of course, resign – then stand for election as a candidate for the Labour party or the Wimmin’s Equality Party.

James Delingpole’s comments on Laura Bates, Special Snowflake

A piece published on the website of Justice for Men & Boys (and the women who love them), the political party of which I’m the chairman, in April 2018:

piece in the current Spectator. This gives me an excuse to publish the paragraph with a reference to Special Snowflake (in bold):

Indian Summer School (C4) is the latest variant on one of my favourite reality TV genres: unteachables go to brat camp. In this case, the tough reformatory for five naughty English kids is the Doon School — ‘India’s Eton’ — a magnificent boarding school set in 70 acres of grounds abundant with trees and flowers in the foothills of the Himalayas north of Delhi. So — not much real hardship: just homesickness and exposure to the kind of old-school rigour, discipline and traditionalism which, in India at least, have yet to be killed by trendy headmasters who think it’s a good idea to give boys the option of wearing skirts or to invite Laura Bates from the Everyday Sexism Project to come and lecture them on how they’re all potential rapists.

Closing gender gap in physics ‘will take generations’

A piece published on the website of Justice for Men & Boys (and the women who love them), the political party of which I’m the chairman, in April 2018:

Our thanks to Nick for this piece by a woman on the BBC website. An extract:

The researchers said practical measures are already known that could help close the gap, including:

  • Reforming publishing [J4MB: Publishing more papers by women, regardless of merit.]
  • Ensuring women receive equal resources at work [J4MB: We have no idea what this means.]
  • Greater recognition of demands outside the workplace that traditionally fall on women when assessing achievements [J4MB: Lesser expectations of work output, exaggeration of women’s “achievements”.]
  • Better access to parental leave and career breaks [J4MB: Less time at work.]
  • Equal access to informal professional networks. [J4MB: Unmeasurable, and reeks of a baseless conspiracy theory.]

“The solutions are out there but it’s difficult to bring about change and get people to act on them,” said Dr Luke Holman, a five-star mangina.

“We haven’t acted on them enough because it’s difficult to change the way that people have always done things and it’s maybe not afforded as high a priority as it should be by people in positions of power in the scientific industry and academia.”

We may have added a few words there. The notion that not enough of a priority has been given to “solving” this non-existing “problem” is nonsensical. Athena SWAN programmes are being run in university STEM departments across the country, leading to women being given positions in preference to better-qualified and harder-working men.

The Manly Zone: Your best guide to building muscle for women

A piece published on the website of Justice for Men & Boys (and the women who love them), the political party of which I’m the chairman, in April 2018:

One of the pleasures of running this site is being contacted by people who want to promote their goods or services, but clearly have no notion that what they’re offering will be of no relevance to virtually all the site’s followers. Today, our thanks goes to John Parker, who writes:

My name is John, I am the main editor at The Manly Zone.

While browsing your site, I noticed you have an amazing article from this page:

Police dog tests are too hard for women: Forces must change handler fitness assessments after Pc Kim-Louise Carter wins £15,000 damages because she couldn’t run as far as a man with one on her back.

My team actually just published a comprehensive article on Your Best Guide to Building Muscle for Women which I think your visitors would truly appreciate and add value to your awesome article.

You can check it out here.

If you were willing to add our link to that page, I would be more than happy to share it to thousands of our social followers to help you gain some visibility in exchange.

Let me know what you think and thank you for your consideration!

Cheers,

John Parker

Desi Linden finishes 143rd in the Boston Marathon, “wins”, lands $150,000 prize money.

A piece published on the website of Justice for Men & Boys (and the women who love them), the political party of which I’m the chairman, in April 2018:

Our thanks to Mike P for this gem (video, 34:45). Tips of the hat to Paul Elam and Tom Golden for their critique of the fiasco. I’m very pressed for time, and have watched only the first 10 minutes, but you know it’s all going to be good.

You could scour the mainstream media and not find an explanation for how Desi Linden, a woman, could have “won” the race, although 142 men recorded faster times. We thank Tom Golden for the answer, via this page on the race start times, published before the marathon took place, on the website of the Boston Athletic Association. Tom writes:

Here’s a link to the start times. Notice that the start time for the elite women is 9:32 am and for the elite men it is 10:00 am. Linden, the female winner, averaged about 5:45 min per mile in the first 10k and that works out to about a five mile head start.

Why is the economy stagnant? It’s feminism, stupid!

A piece published on the website of Justice for Men & Boys (and the women who love them), the political party of which I’m the chairman, in April 2018:

An excellent piece by Andrew Cadman for TCW. I’ve been trying (without success) to post the following comments, but will keep trying. [Update 12:45 – it’s finally got published.]

Andrew, thanks for your excellent piece.

Before I turn to the issue at hand, I’d like to point to a story which may at first glance appear unrelated, but isn’t – an eye-watering instance of a woman “winning” against male competition.

Desi Linden, a woman, recently “won” the Boston Marathon, despite 142 men beating her race time, and duly won the $150,000 first place prize money. The mainstream media have been very reluctant to explain how such a farcical outcome could have happened. The answer is here.

The feminization of organizations and professions always leads to a drop in efficiency and effectiveness (and therefore productivity). The world-renowned sociologist Dr Catherine Hakim explained in her Preference Theory (2000) that while one in seven British women are “work-centred”, four in seven British men are. From the moment they leave f/t education, women are more likely than men either to not work, or to only work p/t. Men pay almost 3/4 of the income taxes which fund the state which assaults men’s and boys’ rights on many fronts.

The government continues to drive major companies into increasing the proportion of women on their boards and senior executive levels, regardless of merit. They started with the FTSE100, now focusing on the FTSE350, it won’t stop there. All this despite it having been known for many years that a causal link exists between increasing the proportion of women on boards, and corporate financial DECLINE.

Campaign for Merit in Business has been campaigning against this “direction of travel” since I launched it in 2012. Later that year I presented written evidence to a House of Lords inquiry, and “Professor” (“Feminist Ideologue” would better describe her) Susan Vinnicombe (Cranfield Uni) admitted in her reply to Lord Fearn that she knew of no evidence of a causal link between more women on boards, and enhanced financial performance – here (scroll down).

I presented written and oral evidence of the link with corporate financial decline to a House of Commons inquiry later that year. The evidence is here (scroll down). The video of Catherine Hakim, Steve Moxon, and myself giving oral evidence is here.

The sum total of all this evidence and effort? Zero. Diddly Squat. Nada. The ConLib coalition was, and the current Conservative government is, even more driven by feminist ideology than the preceding Labour governments. David Cameron threatened FTSE100 companies with legislated gender quotas – through the Davies Report (Lord Davies is a LABOUR peer) – if they failed to “voluntarily” double the proportion of women on their boards by 2015. To their eternal shame, they meekly complied. Indeed some FTSE100 chairmen were (and remain) key drivers of The 30% Club.

I hope the good ladies at TCW won’t mind me plugging an event we’re hosting in London over 20-22 July, the fourth International Conference on Men’s Issues. Only a small number of tickets left now.

MI5 job advertisement – straight / white / able-bodied men need not apply

A piece published on the website of Justice for Men & Boys (and the women who love them), the political party of which I’m the chairman, in April 2018:

Our thanks to Nick for this, the top ad for MI5 in the East London Advertiser:

It’s a model of PC “inclusivity”, with “female” first, as you’d expect. The main body of text:

We understand it’s the very differences between us that make us stronger. It’s why we need people who bring a variety of skills, backgrounds and experiences, with fresh perspectives and ideas. However, there’s one thing we do all have in common, a commitment to keeping the country safe.

MI5 are proud to state, “We only recruit one type of person”:

FEMALEBLACKMALEASIANSCHOOLLEAVERUNIVERSITYGRADUATEDISABLEDGAYBRITISHCITIZEN

Clearly, a straight white able-bodied man has a higher chance of becoming pregnant than being recruited by MI5 today.
