Angel Etchecopar, Argentine radio host, ordered to have feminists on show

A piece published on the website of Justice for Men & Boys (and the women who love them), the political party of which I’m the chairman, in December 2018:

The office reopens tomorrow following the Xmas break, but I thought I’d get a few pieces out of the way this evening. My thanks to a number of people for sending me this BBC piece on 23 December. The start of the piece:

An Argentine radio host accused of misogynist diatribes has been ordered to host a feminist guest every week for five months as part of a deal with prosecutors, reports say.

Angel Etchecopar must not interrupt his guests for 10 minutes, nor can he criticise them after they finish.

It comes after prosecutors accused him of gender discrimination.

He had used his programme on Radio 10 to attack feminists as “feminazis” and “disgusting people”, Le Monde reported.

Prosecutor Federico Vilalba Diaz told La Nación newspaper that Etchecopar had been charged with “disrespectful, insulting, denigrating and discriminatory” outbursts against women.

“But Etchecopar came to the inquiry with a repentant attitude and showed himself to be very different from the personality I had seen in the media,” Mr Diaz said.

ICELAND: Missing woman unwittingly joins search party looking for herself

A piece published on the website of Justice for Men & Boys (and the women who love them), the political party of which I’m the chairman, in December 2018:

Our thanks to Tom for this gem. In his email he warned me not to have a drink in my hand while I was reading it, so I pass on his advice to you.

“Missing woman unwittingly joins search party looking for herself” might just be my favourite headline from the past year.

Tracey Emin, Theresa May, Bill Bailey – the art of T-shirt modelling

A piece published on the website of Justice for Men & Boys (and the women who love them), the political party of which I’m the chairman, in September 2013:

In the last post Jonathan Wiltshire, a supporter and donor, made some very illuminating observations about the M&S ‘Leading Ladies’ ad campaign. We were surprised to see Tracey Emin, the talentless ‘artist’ who’s Professor of Drawing at the Royal Academy – what times we live in! – among the women in the ad. Here is Ms Emin ‘modelling’ a Fawcett Society T-shirt:

Has a common description of feminists, “Bulldogs chewing on wasps”, ever seemed more appropriate?

In my book Feminism: the ugly truth there’s a short chapter titled, Are some feminists (e.g. Tracey Emin) a pain in the arts?

Theresa May managed to look more fetching in the T-shirt (link below), but why on earth was she – a Conservative politician (now Home Secretary) – promoting a T-shirt, the sales of which help fund an odious militant feminist campaigning organisation?

Theresa May

Someone else who looked decidedly more fetching than Tracey Emin in the T-shirt was a much-loved British comedian, Bill Bailey:

If our tracking down these immortal images isn’t worth a donation to our campaign to fund another candidate for the 2015 general election – link below – we don’t know what is.

Red Dead Redemption 2 Players Keep Killing Feminists In The Game

A piece published on the website of Justice for Men & Boys (and the women who love them), the political party of which I’m the chairman, in November 2018:

A highly entertaining sign of the times, three cheers for the gamers who have taken feeding the games’ token Suffragette to crocodiles and showing her a variety of other such wholesome treatment!

‘Fearless Girl’ is heading to London, and other European cities. Joy.

Our thanks to Sean for this. I replied to him:

Thanks Sean. It says nothing good about women and girls that so many have an insatiable appetite for this sort of BS. To me, it speaks of female narcissism, insecurity, anxiety, and poor self-esteem. And this sort of nonsense simply cranks those things up. Most women know they’re neither strong nor amazing – let alone “fearless” – and the effort of pretending to be so (in effect, becoming actresses in their day-to-day lives) stresses and exhausts them. How many more years of feminist “Women are strong! Women are amazing!!” narratives will we have to endure, before normal women in sufficient numbers tell them to sling their hooks?

Mike Buchanan expresses his interest in becoming a Commissioner with the Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC)

A piece published on the website of Justice for Men & Boys (and the women who love them), the political party of which I’m the chairman, in November 2018:

Whilst working on our response to a consultation document produced by the Equality and Human Rights Commission (EHRC), it occurred to me that it would be good to have someone with an interest in men’s rights appointed as a Commissioner. Hope springs eternal, I’ve written and mailed this.
