Do women have too many tights?

A piece published on the website of Justice for Men & Boys (and the women who love them), the political party of which I’m the chairman, in May 2017:

Yesterday we posted a link to a piece on our YouTube channel, a recent interview of Philip Davies MP and Sophie ‘Doughnuts’ Walker by Nick Robinson on BBC Radio 4. Robinson introduced the section with the absurd question, ‘Do women have too many rights?’ when the replacement of ‘rights’ by ‘unearned privileges’ would have made far more sense.

A follower of this blog started his comment with a typo, ‘Do women have too many tights?’ (U.S.: Pantyhose). Needless to say it’s started to lead to some amusing responses, enjoy.

Women Are Not Here For You. You Do Not Own Us.

A piece published on the website of Justice for Men & Boys (and the women who love them), the political party of which I’m the chairman, in May 2017:

I make a big effort to not have my time wasted by deranged feminist bloggers – I know, I know, ‘deranged’ is implied in ‘feminist’ – but every now and then one writes a piece that is so teeth-grindingly absurd, I feel obliged to respond and bring the piece to the attention of the followers of this blog, for the sake of my sanity. One such piece has just come to my attention, on the ‘Drifting Through’ blog – here. It’s titled, ‘Women Are Not Here For You. You Do Not Own Us.’

The website is the creation of an American woman. On her ‘About’ page she writes:

I’m a writer, a mom of three, and a wanna-be groupie (I love to see live music and sometimes it gets excessive.)

I’ve just posted the following comments:

I have only speed-read your piece, life’s too short to do more than that. It was enough. More than enough.

Your website’s strapline is “Welcome to the inner workings of my mind.” The inner workings of your mind have clearly been polluted by feminist ideology and you are therefore predictably narcissistic, delusional, misandrous, angry, miserable, and whiny. Continue to embrace feminism and remain that way if you wish, but don’t expect psychologically healthy people – i.e. non-feminists and anti-feminists – to give a damn.

Have a nice day.

You’d like to attend the Web Summit, Lisbon, 6-9 November? Great! Ticket price for those with vaginas, 85 Euros – for those with penises, 850 Euros.

A piece published on the website of Justice for Men & Boys (and the women who love them), the political party of which I’m the chairman, in May 2017:

Ken writes:

Hey Mike,

Thought I’d share my disappointment with you. I follow your work closely and am a big supporter!

I just graduated University last year with 27k in debt. I believe networking and attending conferences is a great way for young graduates to get out into the market and advance one’s career. I was looking at the Web Summit event which is held in Lisbon this year, which has a ticket price of 850 Euros, or 85 Euros if you happen to be a woman – here. Last year they let women in for free, but most of the ones who claimed a free ticket didn’t go, so this year they’re giving them a 90% discount.

How is this in any way fair? I fail to see any logic in this differential pricing…

Thanks for your work.

All the best,
Ken

Maybe the men wishing to attend the event should claim they self-indentify as women?

Reporter grabs boob live on BBC

A piece published on the website of Justice for Men & Boys (and the women who love them), the political party of which I’m the chairman, in May 2017:

Enjoy (video, 0:34). It’s a good thing for the BBC reporter that the incident took place in Bradford, West Yorkshire. In North Yorkshire he’d have been committing a hate crime, because grabbing a woman’s boobs there is a sign of misogyny, while in West Yorkshire it’s still (for now, at least) a sign of appreciation.

Philip Davies’s seat, Shipley, is in West Yorkshire. Hopefully he won’t abuse the privilege of being able to grope female strangers in the street in the days remaining before the general election, at least while the video cameras are rolling.

The £625 RADA acting classes teaching young women how to beat men to City jobs

A piece published on the website of Justice for Men & Boys (and the women who love them), the political party of which I’m the chairman, in May 2017:

Our thanks to Mike P for this. So what’s the message here? That women should ‘beat men to City jobs’ by competing with men on the basis of competence, or commitment (e.g. by working long hours)? No. On the basis of acting i.e. not being their true selves. Pathetic.

Women who are able to cut it in competitive environments have never needed such things. It’s only the women who are not able to cut it who need them, likewise the women who rely on gender quotas to get into boardrooms, when their expertise and experience alone wouldn’t suffice. Parasites, one and all.

Sports Minister Tracey Crouch says the FA could lose £30m-£40m of public funding if it does not establish three positions on the FA board reserved for female members by 2018

A piece published on the website of Justice for Men & Boys (and the women who love them), the political party of which I’m the chairman, in May 2017:

Our thanks to Ian for this. Let’s be honest about women’s football, shall we? It’s all but unwatchable to anyone but lesbian feminists, as the poor attendances at matches demonstrate. You’d witness a superior quality of match with teams composed of 12-year-old boys.

The most exciting goal I ever saw in women’s football was a spectacular goal in an international game, a year or two ago. It was an own goal, but never mind. One lesson the government has drawn is predictable. There is a pressing ‘need’ for more women on the board of the FA.

In the interest of gender equality we should no longer have gendered teams, but teams inclusive of both sexes, with individual players selected on merit alone. That would make the professional game permanently 100% male.

In January 2013, the month before J4MB launched, I appeared on the national edition of Daily Politics, the only time I’ve been invited on it (though I’ve had a few appearances on regional editions since). I was there to talk about the issue of ‘women on boards’, and opposing me was Heather Rabbatts, a non-executive director of the FA.

The video (11:06) is here. At 10:00 I asked why we don’t see women campaigning for 50% of lorry drivers to be female. Rabbatts seemed taken aback by the question, and on the way out of the studio, she hissed, ‘Lorry drivers – that was a low blow!’ I smiled and said, ‘Thanks, I’ve got hundreds of them!’ She glared at me and stomped out of the room. It’s a happy memory.

The 99 Club offers £500 bursaries for ‘comedians’ with vaginas

A piece published on the website of Justice for Men & Boys (and the women who love them), the political party of which I’m the chairman, in May 2017:

Our thanks to James for this. An extract:

We know that there will be many more talented female comics out there who we look forward to working with in future. [What’s stopped you in the past?]

We also know that it’s important to take concrete steps to support female performers. [Why is it important? Because so few of them are funny, they need ‘support’?]

Earlier this year we were official partners of the UN Women’s HeforShe gender equality campaign.

Our thanks to Lee for this (video, 4:17). He also points out that Captain Nemo’s piece (video, 14:49) on the same programme, posted almost exactly two years ago, has attracted 720,000+ views and 4,800+ comments so far, more comments are being posted daily.
